FUNERAL HELD: Norman Richard Bouchard
DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont
The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Luke P. Austin was the celebrant and homilist. Edward Daniel and Eugene LaBombard served as Ministers of the Altar.
Music was provided by organist and soloist, Mary Jo Gillilan. Hymns selected were, On Eagles Wings, You Are Mine, Psalm Twenty-Three, Shubertís Ave Maria, In Quite Moments, Donít Cry for Me, The Song of Farewell, Nearer My God To Thee and All I Ask Of You.
The White Funeral Pall was draped over Normanís casket by, Diane Bouchard, Martha Bonk, Kelly Larose, and Sally Boyle. Normanís wife Gloria then placed the Crucifix. Special Words of Remembrance were shared by, John Fosgate. Scripture Readings from the Old and New Testament were proclaimed by, Edward Daniel.† Joseph and Sandra Arruda presented The Offertory Gifts.
Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the Northern Tier Center for Health, Franklin County Home Health Agency, Swanton Village Green Apartments and the parish community of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ė Saint Louis.
The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Bouchard family lot in Saint Maryís Roman Catholic Cemetery with Father Austin reading the committal prayers. The bearers were, William Bonk, Rick Larose, Rod Whiting, John Fosgate, Mike Quilliam and Andrew LaRocque.
