FUNERAL HELD: Raymond Willard Corliss

DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont

A Funeral Service was held Sunday, May 16, 2010, at 2 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home. The Reverend Doctor Marguerite C. Gage pastor of the Swanton Memorial and Sheldon United Methodist Parishes officiated. Special Words of remembrance were shared by Ray’s daughter-in-law, Jessica Scanlon-Corliss; sister, Jackie Lavigne; brother, Jack Corliss; niece, Julia Russell and friends, Edna Chagnon and Norman L’Esperance. Among the large delegations in attendance were representatives from the, Chittenden Superior Court, Northwestern Medical Center, The Total Home Center, Sticks and Stuff, Ben & Jerry’s; United Way, Porter’s Bike Shop, Bushey Paving, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Channels 15 and 16 Cable Access and Pete Paquette Real Estate. Interment will take place later at the convenience of the family. Following the service a reception was held at the Corliss Lower Newton Road home hosted by family and friends.
