FUNERAL HELD: Selina H. Dumont
DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont
The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, December 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Thomas D. Nadeau was the celebrant and homilist. Eugene LaBombard and Cleo Yandow served as Ministers of the Altar.
A guard of Honor was formed by members of the Nativity Altar Society.
Music was provided by organist and soloist, Claire Chevalier Hungerford.
The White Funeral Pall was draped over Selina’s casket by, Kelsey Dumont and Carlene Letourneau. The Crucifix was then placed by, Kyla Dumont. Scripture readings from The Old and New Testament were proclaimed by, Linda Toth and Rachael LeGrand. Kyla and Kelsey Dumont presented The Offertory Gifts.
Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the Northern Tier Center for Health, United Parcel Service, Helen Porter Residential and Rehabilitation Center, Mylan Technologies, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, Hero’s Welcome, Bev’s Shear Expectations, Cota’s Auto Parts and Service, The Parts Store and the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Saint Louis Parish Community.
The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Dumont family lot in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery with Father Nadeau reading the committal prayers. The bearers were, Chad Dumont, Russell Dumont, Brandon Dumont, Mike Cota, Mike Burke and Casey LeGrand.
Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Nativity Parish Center hosted by, Mrs. Joyce Bombardier and the Nativity Ladies of Saint Anne.
