FUNERAL HELD:  Beatrice Madeline Gagne

 DATELINE: Highgate Center, Vermont


A Concelebrated Liturgy of Christian Burial was held Friday July 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church. Father Emmanuel I. Ajanma was the principle celebrant and homilist. Other concelebrating priests were  Bea's nephew, Father Leonidas B. Laroche and Pastor Emeritus, Father Jean Paul Laplante. Assisting as Deacon of the Word was, The Reverend Mr. Christopher Micale and as Deacon of the Altar, The Reverend Mr. Gabriel Gagne. Granddaughter, Adrianne Gagne served as Minister of the Altar. Music was provided by soloist and guitarist, Gail Perras. Special music was offered by granddaughters, Lisa Stenta, Amber Stenta and Alicia Laroche; daughters, Dianne Laroche, Lina Roberge and Rolande Renaud accompanied by organist, Mrs. Gisele Depatie. A large guard of honor was formed by members of the Saint Louis Ladies of Saint Anne led by president Rosemary Stanley.


The White Funeral Pall was draped over Bea's casket by her Godchildren, Lisa Stenta and Denis Gagne Sr. The Crucifix was then placed by son, Jean Louis Gerard Gagne. Special Words of remembrance were shared together by son, Cyrille Gagne and granddaughter, Alicia Laroche. Readings from The Old and New Testament were proclaimed by daughters, Dianne Laroche and Rolande Renaud. The Offertory Procession was led by all of Bea's 26 grandchildren presenting flowers before the Paschal Candle. Gifts for the Eucharist were presented by children, Lina Roberge and Cyrille Gagne.


Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from, Raymond Laroche Auto Repair, All Trades Construction, Saint Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nutrena Feeds, Northwestern Medical Center and Cy's Printing and Laminating.


The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Gagne family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery with Father Ajanma assisted by Father Laroche and Deacons Gagne and Micale reading the committal prayers.


The Honorary Bearers were grandsons, Kenneth Gagne and Denis Gagne Sr. The Active Bearers were grandsons, Maurice Gagne, Tony Renaud, Brian Renaud, Mark Stenta, Michael Stenta, George Roberge Jr., Daniel Roberge Richard Laroche and Jonathan Laroche.


Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Father Jean Paul Laplante Parish Center hosted by Mrs. Raymonde Choiniere and the Ladies of Saint Anne.
