†FUNERAL HELD: Normand Donald Gagne

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, March 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church. Father Luke P. Austin was the celebrant and homilist. Concelebrating was, Father Leonidas B. Laroche. John Ferland and Paul Laroche served as Ministers of the Altar. Music was provided by soloist, Jeanne Begnoche accompanied by organist, Michael Olmstead.
The White Funeral Pall was draped over Normandís casket by his sons, Mark and Daniel Gagne. His wife Georgette then placed the crucifix. Special Words of Remembrance were shared by son, Mark Gagne. Scripture readings from the Old and New Testament were proclaimed by granddaughters, Sara Vosburg and Alyssa Ciullo, and The Prayers of the Faithful by, Mary Gagne. The Offertory Gifts were presented by granddaughters, Jessica Brill, Emily Vosburg and Katie and Carly Gagne.
Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the Saint Albans Cooperative Creamery, Missisquoi Valley Union High School including the Student Council and Athletic Department, Flowers by Debbie, Husky, Laroche Repair, Aubuchon Hardware, Franklin County Airport, Northwestern Medical Center, United States Postal Service, Rene Fournier Farm Equipment, Highgate Historical Society, Open Arms Construction, Green Mountain† Dairy and Forest Products, Swanton Rexall, Desorcieís Store, Chevalier Drilling, Local Avon Representatives, Jeff Raleigh Insurance and the parish community of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Saint Louis Parish.
The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Gagne family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery with Father Austin reading the committal prayers. The bearers were grandsons, Eddie Gagne, Evan Peck, Jason Brill, Jameson Berthiaume, Jordan Peck and Aaron Ciullo
Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Father Jean Paul Laplante Parish Hall hosted by Mrs. Raymond Choiniere and the Saint Louis Ladies of Saint Anne.
