FUNERAL HELD: Robert Keith Greeno

DATELINE: Alburgh, Vermont

 

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 1 p.m. from Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church. Father Thomas D. Nadeau was the celebrant and homilist. Assisting as Deacon was The Reverend Mr. Duane Langlois. Lance Percy served as Minister of the Altar. Music was provided by soloist, Maurice Gauthier accompanied by organist, Carol Pellerin.

 

The White Funeral Pall was draped over Robertís casket by, Larry Santor and Bill Greeno. The Crucifix was then placed by his wife, Flora. Special Words of Remembrance were shared by, Heather Greeno. Scripture readings from The Old and New Testament were proclaimed by, Tammy Paquette and Heather Greeno. The Offertory Gifts were presented by, Kim Knight and Laurie LaFar.

 

Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the Alburgh RV Resort, Barrette Ford Sales and Service, S.B. Collins, Powertex and the Lake Champlain Islands Roman Catholic Community.

 

The bearers all grandchildren were, Ryan Greeno, Alee Greeno, James Greeno, Heather Greeno, Keenan St. Clair, Kyle St. Clair, Jessie Pelkey and Justin Pelkey.

 

At the conclusion of the liturgy, Military Honors were accorded the deceased by members of the Vermont Army National Guard, Funeral Honors Team. The American Flag was folded by, Sgt Devin Johnson and presented to Robertís wife Flora by, Msgt Daniel Landry. Taps were sounded by Sgt Devin Johnson.

 

Following the liturgy and military honors a reception was held for family and friends at the Saint Amadeus Parish Center hosted by, Maurice Gauthier as well as members of the Alburgh community

 

During the visitation, members of the American Legion, Creller-Landon Post 60 conducted a prayer service led by, Commander Michael Lamphere, Michael Soule and Danny Duchaine.
