DATELINE: Swanton / Highgate Robert Joseph Bruyette, Jr., age 71 years, died early Wed. morning, May
26, 2010, at the Franklin County Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans Town. A
native of Swanton Bobby more recently has been living on Paul’s Court in the
Town of Born at home in
Swanton on, September 10, 1938, he was the son of the late Robert Sr. and
Clara (Bohannon) Bruyette and attended Swanton
schools. Bobby worked many years as a truck driver for the Swanton Lumber
Company and earlier served for a Bobby leaves his
longtime friend, companion and caregiver, Jeanette Tipper of Highgate; two children and their spouses, Dale and Tawnya Tipper and Chris and Tammie Barrette; three step- children, Penny Pederson and
husband Jan, Duane Tipper and wife Deanna,
and Patricia Tipper and companion Steve Tremblay; He also leaves five
brothers, Clarence Bruyette and his wife Pat,
Donald Bruyette and wife Dot, Richard Bruyette, Ronnie Bruyette and
wife Patsy and James Bruyette; three sisters, Nancy
Hemingway and husband Wallace, Betty Lang and husband Daniel and Rosemary Hakey and husband Donald; 14 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by his father 1989 and his mother in 2006. A Funeral Service
will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial
