Hero/Saint Albans Paul D.
Kinney, age 82, a longtime resident of North Hero died on, July 22, 2010, after a long
period of failing health. Born in Berkshire,
VT on July 13, 1928, he was the son of the late, Hugh and Margaret
(Deuel) Kinney. On August 16, 1949 he married the former Helen Saulters of
Richford who survives him. Paul was a dairy farmer for many years and retired
as a lineman. Paul served his country, as a communication specialist, in the
United States Air Force during the Korean War. In addition
to his wife, Helen of 61 years, Paul leaves six children and their spouses,
Bill and Sandra Kinney, Paula and David Ballentine, Susan Hansen and
companion, Peter
Bergeron, Jim, Steven and Lisa. Two brothers, Ross, Karl, one sister, Wilma
as well as, 8 grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Paul was
also predeceased by a sister, Esther. In keeping
with Paul’s wishes there will be no public funeral services. Interment will
be private and at the convenience of the family in Vermont Veterans Memorial
Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers gifts in Paul’s memory
may be made to the Grand Isle Rescue Department, Faywood Road, Grand Isle, VT
05458. Arrangements have been under the
