Medical Center after a long fight with colon cancer. Pearl was born in Cambridge, VT on,
January 3, 1939, the daughter of the late James Monroe and Florence

wherever she was needed. She was a hard worker, often working
multiple jobs for many years which included workplaces at the Canadian Border
Stations, Cargill, Swanton Airport, The Tyler Place, and the VFW among
others. She never knew a task that could not be done and would guide and
encourage others to complete a job with laughter and a gentle hand. Many will remember her by her smile,
willingness to help and her Vermont sense of humor. Pearl’s favorite pastimes included
gardening, canning food the for winter, ice fishing, playing scratch off tickets
and being a lucky winner. She loved spending time with family, going places
with a group of relatives, knowing that they would laugh about old memories
and create new memories to enjoy in the future. The family reunion of 2008
